Unfortunately the weather and the freezing rain was not on our side this month so we sadly had to cancel a few activities.  However, we had great fun at those that were able to go ahead! 

In December:

• A big group (23 of us in total!) of VEQ and SSEN members from both sides of the river got together at Le Joker Pub Ludique in St-Romuald for an enjoyable Fun and Board Games Evening.  Telestrations proved to be a great game!  
• Two local writers, Jocelyne Mullis and Frank Beltrano, treated us to a literary evening featuring a book reading and poetry readings.  What talent there is in the community!  
• A group of our senior SSEN members went for a drive down to Inverness to join the MCDC members for their Christmas social.  We had a yummy lunch, listened to some live music and sang some Christmas songs.

There were 86 Christmas things in the jar, including big and small ornaments, various chocolates and candy canes!
