COMMUNITY
Grants SA Minor Round 1 – $100 to $10,000 for community activities, one-off programs or services, volunteer development. Closes 30 September 2019

Grants SA Major Round 1 – $10,001 to $100,000 for community facility upgrades, one-off programs or services, vehicles. Closes 04 September 2019

Qantas Regional Grants – to help brighten the futures of regional communities, the Regional Grants Program will provide financial, flight and marketing support to community groups and organisations to help further their causes and set them up for success. Round 1 applications close 30 August.

Strengthening Regional Communities – for small rural, regional and remote communities to support broad community needs. Two funding streams – Small and Vital Grants and Larger Leverage grants. Ongoing

Dreams for a Better World Round 3 Active Community Grants – sports grants to help people of all ages and abilities to be more active. Applications close 13 September.

ANZ Seeds of Renewal – to help build vibrant and sustainable rural communities, to ensure the ongoing prosperity of regional Australia.  Opens 2 July and closes 6 August.

Jetstar Flying Start – for community groups and organisations across Australia to fund a project that will enrich the lives of people in their local community. Closes 30 September.

DROUGHT SUPPORT
PIRSA – Drought Support– A number of services and avenues for assistance are available to support farm families, farm businesses and rural communities prepare for and manage drought conditions. 

On-Farm Emergency Infrastructure Rebate Scheme – a rebate to drought affected farmers who invest in urgently needed on-farm water infrastructure. Closes 31 March 2021

Drought Communities Programme – Extension – to deliver benefits to targeted drought-affected regions of Australia.  Closing 30 June (for Eligible Councils announced in 2018) or 1 December (for Eligible Councils announced in March 2019).

ENVIRONMENT
Landcare – eligible Landcare and community groups are invited to submit a project summary using the online Expression of Interest form. If a suitable funding partner or funding stream is identified, groups may be invited to submit a more detailed application.

The Retailer Energy Efficiency Scheme (REES) – provides incentives for SA households and businesses to save energy through establishing energy efficiency and audit targets to be met by electricity and gas retailers.  Ongoing

HEALTH
Our Town – Fay Fuller Foundation – a new multi-million dollar funding initiative that will work towards solutions to mental health challenges identified by SA rural and regional towns. Funding could be received over 10 years to work towards creating sustainable change.  

Commonwealth Bank Domestic and Family Violence Assistance Program – to support you and your family experiencing a domestic or family violence situation including situations of financial abuse. 

SPORT AND RECREATION
Active Club Program Round 48 – helps active recreation and sports clubs with programs and equipment up to $5,000.  Closes 25 September

Woolworths You Grow Girls – for netball clubs and associations to assist with developments/improvements by upgrading facilities, developing skills, purchasing equipment and supporting club members. Closing 30 September

Grassroots Football, Cricket and Netball Facility Program – aimed at increasing participation and improving gender equity in Australian Rules Football, Cricket and Netball.  To develop core infrastructure that directly impacts participation.  Closes 13 November

Dreams for a Better World Round 3 Active Community Grants – sports grants to help people of all ages and abilities to be more active. Applications close 13 September.

Roger Rasheed Sport Foundation – to provide the children of extreme disadvantaged areas access to sport.

TOURISM
Caravan Parks Defib Subsidy – dollar for dollar up to $1,000 per unit to encourage operators to install defibrillators in caravan parks.  Closes 30 June 2021

YOUTH
Youncare’s At Home Care Grants– to keep young people with high-care needs at home by providing funding for equipment, modifications and support/respite that is unable to be funded through other means (eg NDIS).  Closes 11 September
