70% of M.Jakulis wealth will go to MJJ Fund

GLA 2019 laureate Marius Jakulis Jason recently announced he signed a will to leave 70 percent of his wealth to the "Marius Jakulis Jason Fund" hereafter. The not-for-profit foundation was established in 2019 to support talented Lithuanian entrepreneurs, academics, and students and already distributed 0,5 Eur in grants. Currently, the MJJ Fund manages 5,5 million Eur. Total Marius Jakulis' wealth is estimated at over 100 mln. Eur.

Signal Automotive, an American-Lithuanian technology-enabled wholesale automotive platform, announced a $20MM investment led by Kayne Partners Fund, the growth private equity group of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, L.P. Congratulations to Kestas Barzdaitis, who is a co-founder of the Lithuanian part of business, as well as a board member at Lithuanian American Business Association and active member of the GLL community!

Great collaboration between Clubs of Professionals in Italy and Sweeden led to substantial support for a single Lithuanian mother whose son needs urgent surgery. Daina Lapenaite, editor in chief at Itlietuviiai.it news portal, created this beautiful video to help fundraise, and the Club of Lithuanian Professionals in Stockholm raised 2.000 Eur to donate for the boy's surgery. Indeed, when hearts are big, the world is small.

In the recent Lithuanian Dream Podcast, a diaspora engagement expert from Ireland and dear GLL friend Kingsley Aikins shares his insights about effective networking. "If you just only want networking because you want to get, it soon becomes obvious and people will avoid you. We must keep giving at the heart of every interaction" - explains Mr. Aikins.
