International Student Scholarships
Madison College offers two scholarships for F-1 visa students - Devi Bhargava Memorial International Student Scholarship and International Student Foundation Scholarship. Find out more information on the International tab of the scholarships web page.
MyMadisonCollege Address Updates
It's important to maintain your visa by keeping your address up to date. Log in to your MyMadisonCollege account through the New Portal to update your International Address and Emergency Contacts.
If you have a preferred name, or nickname, that you like to use instead of your given name, you can now ask Madison College to use your preferred name. With a quick update you can have your preferred name used on class lists for instructor, your email account, your Blackboard and your MyMadisonCollege student account. To do this please contact the Enrollment Center for more information.
Come to a Global Connections and win one of these prizes!
Grand Prize - Every Global Connections attendance = 1 entry
Cultural Connect is hosting a Black History Month event on February 19th at 4:30 pm.
Join us as we watch Hip Hop U: The First Wave Scholars and learn about Black activists around the world in Bingo with a chance to win a prize! Each event you join puts you into a drawing at the end of the semester.
Tammy is the Leadership Fellow for Study Abroad and Virtual Exchange at CIE. In her role, she manages all Study Abroad and Virtual Exchange programs and manages the Cultural Connect program. She loves the outdoors, especially hiking and walking with her dog, Fiona. She also loves to travel, especially abroad. She lived in Germany for four years, where she developed an intense love for Haribo gummy bears. She hopes to welcome you all to the CIE office in person soon and until then, looks forward to seeing you join the Cultural Connect spring events!
CIE Student Support Check-In
During this global pandemic, your success and safety is our top priority. This semester CIE will provide you additional opportunities to check-in with our staff to help ease the challenge of social distancing and virtual schooling. Whether you have questions regarding academic, social or emotional support, financial resources, or would just like time to talk, we are here for you.
In the coming weeks, look for emails and phone calls from our CIE colleague Linda Aroonsavath to offer you a CIE Student Support Check-In. As always, CIE continues to offer support through the Virtual Front Desk Hours, 1:1 advising, and information about resources and upcoming events in our bi-weekly newsletters. Your wellbeing and success has always been our highest priority. We want every student to achieve their goals.
