I don’t have any grand answers about how to fix the terrible world problems, other than continuing to take care of the people in our circles—maybe even widening them a little, letting our elected officials know what we think, and doing what needs to be done to stay sane!
In the smaller (and more controllable) world of my writing and books, I’ve finally Sent Off the revisions on Key West Food critic number 14 now titled A Poisonous Palette. If you enjoy looking into the nuts and bolts of writing, this week was “what we are writing week“ on my group blog Jungle Red Writers. You can find my blog on the topic of revisions right here.
As for food this past month, I had fun thinking about the topic of “girl dinners,” meaning what you cook when your partner is away. Since I don’t follow TikTok, I didn’t realize this was a “thing”—and a controversial topic at that! Here’s the link to my delicious turkey reuben dinner for one. This might be useful after Thanksgiving…
A Poisonous Palate should be up for pre-order soon, but meanwhile, if you haven’t gotten around to A Clue in the Crumbs, that book (number 13) is available in hardcover, audio, and e-book. You might also like to try my foray into women’s fiction, The Ingredients of Happiness. The paperback edition will be out in January and you can order that now.
