Happy New Year! Please remember that you are whole and complete just as you are. While it can be a great time of the year to clear the decks and start fresh, please don't think that you need to change who you are or become "better." That kind of thinking is, frankly, a trap.
Don't get me wrong; I love the clean slate and I love setting goals (in fact, I set a few new ones myself this week!). But a lot of people seem to think that this is a time to measure who they are by what they do or how much they can change. Please try to remember that we are, as the saying goes, human beings, not human doings. π
