Greetings everyone! This week has been a whirlwind!
Broken Foot Recovery: 7 weeks into my recovery of my right foot and making good progress with my physio and rehab! My strength is coming back, although I have to be careful not to push myself too quickly. I have well-enough range of motion and control that I can start driving again (and not a moment too soon!)
Moving Far, Far, Away: My cross-country move is in 4 days! Life has been a blur of juggling work, boxes, and appointments. Massive thanks to everyone who's been patient with my sporadic email responses and unusual "office hours".
De-stash Corset Sale Going Well: Last week I listed 23 corsets (some overstock and some personal collection) on my Patreon, and let my supporters get first dibs and cash in their store credit! 12 corsets are now claimed but there are still 11 remaining in sizes 18" to 26". On September 1st, I'll open the sale up to the public!
Brand new (and LAST) gallery! After nearly 8 months of work, the massive project of bringing all the Guided Galleries up to date is finally complete!
After many requests for a Regency gallery from Jane Austen / Bridgerton fans this past year, I finally caved.
This week I bit off a little more than I could chew, as there was SO much experimentation and change between 1790-1835. I ended up categorizing the gallery into three sections: Transitional Stays, Regency Short Stays (and Regency "bras"), and finally Regency Long Stays and Jumps.
42 pics in all, including patterns if you'd like to try making your own!
Pictured here are exquisitely corded 1820s long stays by Fiorentina Costuming (Ukraine).
