Enjoy this sweet spot between seasons as we transition from summer to fall!
With the cooler temps plus the damaging storm last week, summer crops like melons have ended. Sweet corn, tomatoes and peaches are still lingering a bit longer while we welcome fresh cider, abundant apples, lettuces and greens, the return of roots like radishes and salad turnips, plus a variety of hard winter squashes...and pumpkins!
Sweet and hot peppers continue to be plentiful — but eat them while you can! Colorful sweet peppers are perfect to slice for lunchboxes, stuff for supper, add to simple stir-fry, roast for sauces and sandwich toppings. And don't forget to freeze some for winter soups and sauces!
On behalf of your local growers and producers, we are truly grateful for your support through all seasons. (Note: Market continues weekly through December, with breaks for holidays. We'll transition to our "Winter Season" in January.)
See you in the fresh air and sunshine this Friday from 3–6pm!

Rain or Shine!
We're committed to being a rain or shine market! We will pause operations for safety in passing electrical storms. If there are any changes due to extreme conditions, we will provide updates via email and social media. Check Facebook & Instagram if you're uncertain on market day.
Location & Parking
Find us in the parking area of The Creamery of Kennett Square @ 401 Birch St. The Creamery is open starting at 5pm on Fridays.
FREE PARKING is available on the WEST side of 226 East Birch St (across the street from Braeloch Brewing) or at the office adjacent to The Creamery. We encourage you to use the lots versus the street to be respectful to residents on Birch.
Market Shopping Tips
- Preorders continue to be helpful for both producers & customers, so take advantage of that option as available to secure exactly what you need for the week!
- Masks are not required for vendors or guests, but please wear one as you as you feel most comfortable.
- Bring some cash as not all vendors accept cards.
- In the heat of summer, it's a good idea to throw a cooler with ice packs in the car to keep things fresh until you get home.
- Well-behaved pups on leash are welcome at market.
- We have a few carts at market entry to use as you shop, just return to that location when done!
