After learning that the acquisition editor who still had my proposal retired last week, I'm marching forward with my novel in anticipation of publishing it under my own imprint, Open Road Press. The copyeditor begins work today.
Meanwhile, I sunk my teeth back into novel #2 last week. I'm looking forward to how my characters react now that they have the spotlight again.
I have coached primarily young people online through TheHopeLine for over a decade. That arrangement came to an end recently when the ministry eliminated volunteer coaches in favor of a fully paid staff that they could better schedule and manage. I go back many years with the people in this organization, so parting has been sad.
I've landed with Needhim.org. This portal focuses more on adults than youth and offers a steadier stream of traffic. I am still acclimating to their methods and resources. Their coaching strategy is to share the Gospel to unleash the power to transform people's lives.
