Thanks ever so for your tremendous support over our busiest ever Christmas & New Year period. It was our great pleasure to welcome so many of you back from the 'missing years'. As we approach our 20th year in business this October I sense there is some groundswell of encouragement if not clamour for a celebration - best watch this space!
Have to admit the Doomsters & Gloomsters of Westminster and beyond have helped us greatly. The Three-Day-a-Weekers plus the Working-from-Homesters have seized the opportunity to stay local, save all the faff, fear and expense of travelling so as to frequent their favourite, dependable diner where they are treated as familiar friends.
So many of you comment kindly on the wonderful staff we have at Bartellas but having such delightful, loyal customers helps make the job so much more fun and rewarding - your Christmas cards were much appreciated and your multitude of gift wrapped chocolates were suitably devoured, thank you.
Valentine's Day is less than a month away - we’re open on the Tuesday night with a three course table d'hôte menu including Champagne on arrival for £50 per person but space at the prime times is already rather limited. Same day lunchtime as well as the a la carte we are also offering the same menu, two or three courses for £30 and £35 but without the welcome drink.
Our à la carte menu has been reviewed and refreshed with some hearty main course choices that are already proving popular- Stuffed porchetta, spiced rump of lamb, chicken diavolo, Toulouse sausages and a penne boscaiolo.
Usual offer for Club Bartellas members of a complimentary bottle of wine to the value of £40 when dining with us - one bottle per member per duration of the offer please, valid until 12th February.
Greatly looking forward to some lighter and warmer weather so that we can bring the new al fresco dining and bar area into full operation - will need to kick off probably with a Club Bartellas Sunday night bash of sorts.
Meanwhile happy to report business as usual with all our regular luncheon and dining club characters. Bookings for Christmas Day 2023 and New Year’s Eve have already commenced. Yet more new competition coming to the area which helps drives us even further to focus on us delivering consistently the cornerstones of any long term, successful restaurant business - good food, great service, lovely ambience and at value for money prices.
