Hello everyone,

For Halloween, here's a 2000 year old mosaic of a skeleton reclining with bread and a jug of wine. The mosaic was discovered in 2012 on the site of the ancient Roman city of Antioch, on the border of Syria and Turkey. The script says "Be cheerful, enjoy your life!"

I hope everyone is keeping safe and well. Let me know if there's anything you'd to see here or in my blog. You can send me a message by replying to this email.

 Best wishes, Helen
