We are excited to announce our 2026 NomadMania Conference and invite you to mark your calendars to start making plans for this spectacular event!

  • Dates: June 10-14, 2026
  • Location: Guess? :-P

More details — including the event theme, location, and precise schedule — will be shared soon.

Following the footsteps of our great event in Fergana, Uzbekistan, we are preparing another event with a combination of important travel discussions, explorations to both worthy and quirky places, great shows and above all, amazing camaraderie!

This is not a conference you will want to miss. And don’t be discouraged by the term conference… that’s only 9 hours of a full 4-day extravaganza…

More Events All Over the World

Last week, we hosted two NomadMania meetings in Singapore and Kraków.

The Singapore gathering marked the third joint NomadMania–SGTravelCafe event, drawing around two dozen travelers. You can read a brief report from our local envoy, WeeCheng Tan, on Instagram here.

While the Singapore event was carefully planned and promoted well in advance, our Kraków meeting came together spontaneously in just three days — using our newly launched event hosting feature.

Try it out and see how easy it is to organize your own meetup! 🚀

Also, don’t miss the shared trips posted by our community members here.

NomadSummit Podcast with Orest Zub

In this episode of the Nomad Summit Podcast, Christoph Huebner sits down with a Ukrainian traveler and NomadMania managing partner, Orest Zub.

The setting? A sailboat in Croatia, after several days at sea together, heading towards one of the most remote and rarely visited islands in the Adriatic, including a NomadMania DARE place - Palagruza island.

Orest shares how his passion for exploration evolved into a leadership role in NomadMania - one of the world’s most respected platforms for extreme travelers. This is a conversation about adventure, community, and seeing the world in ways most people never will.

Key Takeaways:

  • Orest Zub’s journey from Ukraine to visiting nearly 150 countries.
  • How NomadMania connects extreme travelers worldwide.
  • What “DARE” locations are and why they matter.
  • The story of sailing to Palagruža, a rarely visited island in Croatia.

[TOUR] Burundi, Rwanda & Uganda

  • 20 Jan 2026 - 29 Jan 2026
  • Gorilla & Safari tour

This 10-day trip through BurundiRwanda, and Uganda focuses on two of the most remarkable wildlife experiences in East Africa: a full-day safari in Akagera National Park and a guided gorilla trek in Uganda’s Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

These are not ordinary sightseeing stops — Akagera offers a rare chance to see animals like lions, giraffes, and hippos in a landscape that combines savannah, lakes, and wetlands, while Mgahinga provides the opportunity to track one of the few remaining mountain gorilla families in the world.

The rest of the itinerary includes visits to lesser-known areas across six NomadMania regions and four NomadMania DARE regions. In Burundi, we explore historical palaces, vibrant local markets, and the iconic drumming sanctuary of Gitega.

In Rwanda, the route includes lakeside villages and a boat trip to the isolated Nkombo Island. The trip ends in Kigali after a scenic drive through western Rwanda. Transport is by private vehicle throughout, with overnight stays in comfortable, well-located hotels and lodges.

This trip was a smash-hit last January; this one will be even better!
