Our mission at Six Strings Acoustic is to help enrich the lives of Arizona’s Special Needs Children by bringing live music to those that normally wouldn’t have the chance to experience it…but greatly deserve to.

MAY 2ND 4-6 PM at THE VIG ON MCCORMICK RANCH GENUINE CONCEPTS COMMUNITY HANDLES PROGRAM

Stuart Epstein will be playing Happy Hour to kick off Genuine Concepts Community Handle's program for the month of May. Please make plans to join us for some music and beer. The Community Handle's program picks a different brewery every month and features a specific beer (TBD) for each pint sold, $2.00 will be donated to Six Strings Acoustic’s Children’s Program. The Barrio Brewery in Tucson is May's participating brewery. The other participating restaurants and bars will be; The Vig (all five locations), Linger Longer Lounge, The Little Woody, The Womack, Cobra Arcade Bar, Ladera Taverna y Cocina and Deli Tavern.  So when you are out and about in May drop by any, or all, of the participating establishments and lift a pint for music for specials needs kids.  

PROM SEASON

As the school year winds down prom is the one big event before graduation. Once again Six Strings will be joined by Scottsdale’s own, Dusty Ramblers to play at the Chaparral High School prom. Earlier this year The Dusty Ramblers donated their musical talents when they played with Stuart for Chaparral’s Homecoming Dance. Having a live band play at your dance just makes a special day even more special. Be sure and check out the Dusty Rambler’s website, they are a homegrown band that plays all original music:

ARIZONA GIVES DAY SUCCESS

A big THANKS to everyone that participated in this year’s Arizona Gives Day. You killed it by helping us raise over $2,000 in one day. Arizona Gives Day is where nonprofits show what is truly possible when we all invest our time, talents and treasures to truly lift the tide of all participating nonprofits. So thanks again to Bradley, Elise, Fayelyn, Jennifer, Jessica, Leon, Mike, Patti, Sharon and Teresa. You made it happen and are keeping the music alive for some very special kids.

DREAM DINNERS FUNDRAISER

On March 22nd we raised $200.00 at a Dream Dinners Event organized by an amazing mother of one of our students at Redfield Elementary, Sherry Milia. Sherry brought her son, Dominic, and two of his teachers Danette and Jessica to join in on the fun. Everyone had a great time and walked out with some delicious dinners to take home. Dream Dinners provides everything you need to assemble, cook and serve a healthy dinner for your busy family.
