Hey everyone,
The first weekend of August is almost here, and that means only one thing - Humber Street Sesh is taking place this weekend! It’s one of Hull’s biggest events, turning the Marina into a buzzing hub of live music, art, and culture. We’ve put together a handy guide to help you make the most of it, so check it out below.
We’ve also been out and about in Scarborough last week, trying the open-top sightseeing bus, and we absolutely loved it. With sea views, sunshine, and a bit of nostalgia thrown in, it’s a brilliant way to explore the coast. Watch the vid below and start planning your own day out!
And lastly, we had a proper feast at a brand new takeaway on Hedon Road. It’s run by a local bloke who’s all about top-quality comfort food made with ingredients from trusted local butchers. Check out the video to see what we tried!
As always, there are loads of other great events happening this week. A few worth shouting about include a family fun day raising awareness for Type 1 diabetes, a colourful charity run for KIDS, and a fabulous drag takeover at one of the city centre’s rooftop bars.
Check out our monthly events roundup article and full listings for even more to do.
We always appreciate your feedback – just scroll down to the form and tell us what you’re loving, or what you think we could do better.
And as ever, a big thank you for supporting Hull What’s On. Sharing this newsletter with someone else really does make a difference.
Enjoy another fab summer week!
