We had such a lovely time last year during lockdown and were so delighted with the number of people who came to sing with us, that we have decided to do it again this year. The wonderful Franz and Sophie will be here to lead the singing from 5pm on Sunday 18th December. Mince pies and spiced apple cider will all be on offer with our compliments outside the cafe, as well as our the usual hot drinks and cake inside. Please wrap up warm and come and get festive with us.

TOMORROW! Thursday 15th at 9.15am - Drop in and join us with some FREE Christmas crafting fun for any age. Sarah from Nature Arts Kids has donated this session so that parents and pre-schoolers or indeed anyone can come in and feel festive with an hour of fun in the community room. Please do come along and make the most of this free session.

We are fully booked for our Kids Club on 21^st December, during which the children will enjoy lots of Christmassy fun and a tasty lunch! These sessions are run in conjunction with Dorchester Town Council and we are hoping to continue them in 2023.

Our monthly supper clubs here at PiPs, which have included French Bistro and Italian nights, have been a great success. Last week saw our last one of the year with a delicious full Christmas dinner provided by wonderful caterer Rosemary Rogers. It was also a pleasure to host the retired magistrates for Christmas lunch too with lots of good spirit and crackers being pulled.

Supper Club will return on January 26th with a winter warmer themed night with slow braised beef in beer with dumplings and Bakewell tart or crumble.   To book your place please contact lucy@pipspoundbury.com or pop in the café.

Our monthly coffee and cake club is always heart warming and it's wonderful to hear the noise of chatting and laughter coming from the community room. We must extend our sincere thanks to the wonderful Fiona who volunteers to run the club; she is always here waiting to welcome everyone. If you would like to join us in the New Year, our next session will be 26th January, 10am.
