First, the good news! We received a letter this week from a church that is going to join our financial support team next month. This church has already been a faithful supporter in prayer, and this new news was such a blessing. And, it means that over the past three months, one new church has joined our team each month. We are so thankful for each one.
Second, even more good news. Our support is up to 88.7%. We need to raise an additional $660 in monthly support to get to Missionary Acres full time! We have been so blessed this past year. Last year when we wrote our January letter we were only at 14.5%. This is a big change. We are so thankful for our God, and for each and every one one you who have prayer for us, and contributed to our ministry. THANK YOU! We mean it, thank you.
Please continue to pray for us this year as we continue to raise support and work towards our goal of serving at Missionary Acres full time.
Next, more good news. We have been asking for prayer for our oldest daughter Jayme and her future. This week she received an official acceptance letter from her top choice college. This fall, she will begin taking courses at College of the Ozarks in Missouri. We are so excited for Jayme! And she is looking forward to beginning this new chapter in her life.
Finally, you guessed it, even more good news! We began 2021 by filling the pulpit in a church without a pastor. We were able to stay in their missionary housing for a few weeks, and preached for three Sundays and the two Wednesdays between them.
During that time, we were also able to contact two nearby churches and give updates on our ministry. Bryan was also able to preach in both of those churches. Needless to say, it has been a busy few weeks.
2020 was such an amazing year. God worked in so many ways. We are excited to see how He works in the rest of 2021.
"I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being." Psalm 104:33
Praising God all along the way,
Bryan & Lisa Tanner & Family
We are getting ready to head south again. Bryan will be taking two of the girls to Missouri to visit Missionary Acres in February. During that trip, they will be sharing our ministry with one church in Missouri and two in Illinois.
Please keep our family in your prayers as we will be separated for most of the month of February, and those traveling will be going over multiple mountain passes as well as driving a lot of miles.
Our current committed support level is 88.7%
Owen's VNS battery replacement surgery went well and he recovered nicely. The incision site has finally healed all the way.
Our schedule is filling up for the first quarter of 2021
Jayme was accepted to College of the Ozarks, and is looking forward to studying graphic design there.
We have visited three churches already this year.
The roads have been very easy to navigate so far this year, and we haven't had to drive on a lot of snow.
For a healthy pregnancy and safe delivery - Tanner Baby #10 is due in spring 2021, and Lisa currently has a complete placenta previa. We are praying that this would move up and out of the way. If it doesn't, a c-section will be needed.
That our family would grow closer to God and continue to grow spiritually during deputation.
For salvation for our children who are not yet saved.
That the residents and staff currently at Missionary Acres would continue to stay healthy -- Pray that no one else would get COVID-19.
To continue to connect with Pastors and fill our schedule for 2021.
That God would raise our support level to 100%
For continued safety on the roads, we will be driving many miles on winter roads.
For continued health for our family.
For Lisa's freelance writing business - she lost a client in December and is praying about finding new ones.

We know that not everyone is in a place to give financially. If that is you, but you still want to help, we ask for your prayers. Please pray for us every time the Lord brings us to your mind. We know that your prayers are equally, if not more important, in our success in this ministry. We praise God for your continued support in prayer.
To learn more about our ministry we have uploaded a video presentation to our website: https://tanners2ma.com/virtual-deputation/. We would be honored if you could share this video with others who may be interested in learning more about our ministry.
