#IDF2023 is an international collaboration between six sister regional science engagement networks (ASPAC, ASTC, Ecsite, NAMES, RedPOP, and SAASTEC).
Why?
#IDF2023 is a unique in-person only opportunity for a maximum of 200 senior leaders
from global science engagement institutions to inspire and be inspired, network, build relationships, share expertise, and debate
the field's response to contemporary challenges such as the climate and biodiversity crisis, misinformation, and critical thinking.
What?
#IDF2023 is a 2-day program featuring inspirational talks in the mornings about current challenges; check out the list of confirmed speakers here.
In the afternoons, participants will engage in hands-on workshops to come up with feasible and tangible solutions to the challenges discussed earlier, to bring back home newly inspired knowledge and aspirational practices to apply and develop. All workshops start with named challenges, but discussion will certainly grow wider.
You can read more about the program here.
