Well, it was probably made for a lot of other people too, but I sure felt right at home this past week! I flew in to attend the Self-Publishing Conference and met some amazingly cool people.
As in, I-was-fangirling-on-the-inside-cool-people. One of them was the incredible Lucy Score. I mean, what? 😍 I hope I played it cool... but I'm pretty sure I didn't succeed.
London was great for non-author things too. Like seeing Adele perform live (I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E) or visiting Harry Potter filming locations. Or, you know, stopping by an exhibit with books made out of fruit. Actual fruit.

PS: I promise my next newsletter will have a lot more book-related stuff.
PPS: I had to walk past Grosvenor Square where so much of Bridgerton takes place. Can sadly report that I didn't see any dukes or earls, but I swear I looked really hard.
Being away is great. Going to conferences is great. But...
It means returning to my manuscript and wondering what the heck I was thinking when I left it. Who is this character again? And why on earth did I leave them in this precarious position?!
(My main character just fell off a small fishing boat. Why? How? And where on Earth do I go from here?)
Have you read all of my bonus stories? These include extra chapters and extended epilogues.
