I'm a little late getting my newsletter out this month. August just flew by for me!
Last month, my husband and I went on a vacation. Whenever I travel, it's always a time crunch to prepare (I'm not an efficient packer), and then when I return, it takes me several days for me to get back into the groove. I'm home now, so back to work!
Vacations, no matter how short, are critical for our well-being. They give us a break from our to-do lists, schedules and routines and remind us of the simple pleasures like of rolling out of bed without an agenda!
If you are retired, vacations just add spice to your life. You may not feel the same about not having an agenda, but a change in scenery is like food for the soul.
