We have made major improvements to our account management interface. Managing your RCC account should be faster and easier than before, ad more features and improvements are on the way!
If you are transferring data to or from RCC storage systems, you can now experience faster speeds. We have upgraded our storage export nodes to 40GB/s (an increase of 40x). We've also upgraded our login nodes to 10GB/s (an increase of 10x).
Every year, the RCC performs software updates on our cluster and installs new versions of all major software packages. This year, we will perform our software upgrade in May between academic semesters. Specific dates will be announced in April.
Are you interested in learning more about how the High Performance Computing cluster works? We offer personal, guided tours of the FSU RCC data center in Innovation Park. If you're interested in getting a free tour, let us know.
