I hate winter and everything cold. I can stay inside and never leave for the entire winter if allowed. Me and Winter been beefing since 1987. lol Yeah thats my birth year but it counts!

I laughed so hard during that interview because shooting it was odd since I was initially answering questions Sam sent me but talking to myself pretending someone else was there lol. Chapter One: Crazy
Tiffany
Tiffany trudged up the dusty staircase to the dwelling once occupied by her captor. Yeah you heard that right. Her captor. Every rational part of her rebelled against returning to the apartment. No matter how hard she tried to avoid making that trek up the staircase to her former prison; she couldn't sleep anywhere else. No other place, including her own bed, provided her the sweet relief of sleep.
Today was hour forty-six since Tiffany had slept. Her willpower to stay had shattered. In nothing but a robe and nightgown she took a taxi across town to the building containing her solace.
Tiffany should probably see a doctor, but she was too ashamed to admit the truth her body had accepted. She can't sleep anywhere else but his bed because it's him who she truly longs for. The man who abducted her and held her hostage was also the man who had stolen her heart.
Doesn't matter now because he was dead.
Crazy or not I have the right to grieve the loss. Regardless if anyone else understands it or not. I don't even understand it.
She inserted the key only to find it already unlocked.
He’s back!
She pushed the door open. . . and halted. The apartment swarmed with cops. An older male with a salt and pepper hair and beard whirled around and locked eyes with her.
Fuck, it’s Detective Shaw!
He worked the case of her abduction. Detective Shaw looked to be in his late 50s with messy dark waves tinged with grey brushing his collar. The wildness to his gaze matched Tiffany’s like he too hadn't slept in days. Shaw was a mean son of a bitch and for some reason this case was personal for him. Tiffany took off down the narrow hallway and Shaw gave chase.
Just before she turned the corner and downed the stairs strong arms grabbed her, throwing her against the wall with a thud. The impact knocked the wind out of her.
“What the fuck are you doing here?” he growled. “Huh? How do you know this was his place? You said, you didn't know anything!”
Tiffany stood there; her words caught in her throat. In a last-ditch effort she tried to fight her way loose, but Shaw's grip was too strong. His touch became more forceful and slammed her into the wall again shaking her violently.
“Answer me god damn it! Are you working with him? Tell me! Why are you special? Why did he let you go and not my daughter! Where’s Lily?” He grew more and more aggressive with each word spoken.
Terrified, she screamed, “I don't know!”
The other uniform cops arrive to wrestle Shaw away from Tiffany, forcing him to let her go. She slides down the wall sobbing and hysterically screaming “I don't know why! I don't know! I don't know why me!” She meets Shaw’s gaze as he was still held back from her. She whispered, “I just miss him and can't sleep without him. I am fucked up.”
Chapter Two: Common Grounds
Tiffany
One Month Earlier. . .
Tiffany wiped off the coffee shop counter after the midday rush. She made mental notes of what needed to be refilled in the display case when a breaking news update caught her attention.
“This is Kim Knight with breaking news. The police have released a sketch of the man dubbed the Nightstalker who is said, to be responsible for the abduction and disappearance of ten women of color in the New York City Metro area. The NYPD are urging anyone with information to please step forward so that they can put a stop to the terror we are facing as more women go missing. The tip line was 1-800-NYC-TIPS. This was Kim Knight with WLNY Channel Two News,” blared on the TV as Tiffany stood rooted in place with wide eye shock.
The image of a sinister Asian man with the distinct monolid, skin the color burnt sienna, and weird markings on his face peeking through the strands of his long black hair, flashed on the screen. Tiffany wondered how close that image was to his likeness since all of the women he abducted have never been found.
Who Identified him?
The sound of someone yelling broke Tiffany out of her thoughts. She turned to find her boss Ellis got rejected by some hot guy that was eye fucking Petra, a regular customer here at Common Grounds. Ellis was a beautiful girl with bright eggplant purple hair, but she set herself up for that one. She knew her shit when it came to coffee and made it her mission in life, to teach Americans what real coffee tasted like. But clearly, she lost a brain when it came to hot guys.
Mortified Ellis trudged back behind the counter and slumped over on the counter Tiffany just finished wiping down.
Tiffany said, “ouch boss lady you crashed and burned there.”
Ellis sat up with a roll of her eyes. “Well at least I shot my shot instead of ogling from far like you.”
Tiffany laughed, removing her apron. “It was clear that guy was gaga for Petra only from the second he entered the coffee shop.” she moved to clock out since it’s the end of her shift. “He was basically looking for her the moment he walked in. You would have had better luck with a corpse. See ya tomorrow girl.”
Ellis scoffed, “I hate that you are right. I am going to die single.”
Tiffany leaned over to give her a hug and teased, “Naw I'll marry you before that happens.” she winked before walking out the door.
The smell of putrid trash and god knows what hit her senses as she stepped out onto the street. Tiffany heard something behind her and before she could investigate it, her world went black.
