My wife Tracy and I were in Los Angeles in January, and we met with the president of Legendary Television and his senior vice president of television production. We had an excellent discussion about how they intend to translate The Able Archers to the screen. The Legendary executives are very motivated to make The Able Archers series and they hope to finalize a deal with a streaming company soon.
While in Los Angeles, I also met with a producer for the Turning Points documentary series. The Turning Points team is producing a new eight-part documentary on the Cold War that will air on Netflix, probably by the end of 2023. The production team interviewed me extensively on camera regarding the 1983 nuclear war crisis and they plan to devote a full episode to that event.
As I mentioned last time, the Air and Space Forces Magazine’s December 2022 issue contains an article I wrote about the Air Force role in quelling the 1983 nuclear war crisis. Read the article here.
Air and Space Forces Magazine also published my opinion piece on the recent Chinese balloon incursion in its Daily Report. That piece, “Does Congress Care about Protecting America’s Skies” has been picked up by many news outlets and you can read it here.
I have appeared on several podcasts and radio shows in 2023, including “Something Something” from Hollywood and Don Hutchinson’s “Discover Your Talent—Do What You Love.”
