Hey everyone,
And just like that, we’re already saying hello to September. The summer holidays have brought us loads of lovely memories, but now the kids are heading back to school and everyone’s getting back into the usual routine. That doesn’t mean the fun has to stop though, so we’ve pulled together a list of the best events happening this month, so check it out below.
Also, we’ve released a short round-up video of some of the best food and fun spots in the city centre. From grabbing a pint with live music to enjoying pizza while taking on your mates at a board game, there’s plenty of inspiration for your next outing.
And finally, we’ve got a little secret to share… Hull’s very first speakeasy has just opened, and it’s already shaping up to be one of the city’s most exciting nights out. Expect great vibes, an intimate setting, and cocktails that really impress. Watch our vid below and start planning your visit!
As always, there are loads of other great events taking place in Hull & East Yorkshire. To name just a few, there’s An Evening of Georgian Music performed by the renowned ensemble Concert Royal, a free lunchtime heritage talk at Hull Minster exploring the work of local craftsmen, and the return of an indie superstar from Amsterdam for another brilliant Hull gig.
Check out our monthly events roundup article and full listings for even more to see and do.
We’d love your feedback – scroll down to the form and let us know what you’ve been enjoying, or any suggestions you think would make this newsletter even better.
And as always, thanks for supporting Hull What’s On. Passing this on to friends or family helps us more than you know, and we really appreciate it.
Here’s to fresh starts and new adventures this school year!
