Musings from my Writing Cave
Wow! What a busy month! I am so glad to be taking a moment to touch base with you, I feel like so much has happened in such a short time.
I have gone back to work (day job) and we have protocols in place to keep us all safe during the Covid-19 craziness which makes me feel better about being there. For the most part, I never leave my desk, so it is almost like being home, except I can't wear my PJs which is kind of a bummer. Attending meetings where no one could see me will be missed as well. :)
I also miss the extra time I had to devote to my writing. My Mystical Creatures blog posts have gone by the wayside, as I concentrate my efforts on getting the final book in the series out to you. I did manage to complete a novelette as well which I will chat about more in a minute.
Another thing I finally managed was to get my hair done. Bye-bye quarantine gray! Holy cow there was so much of it! The cut and color has me feeling so much better, so much so that I took a Covid-19 pic with my spiffy mask. :)
In my part of the world, the Pandemic seems to be gearing up again, so we may see limitations put back in place as we move forward. My guess is that the second time around won't be nearly as much of a stressor since we all know what to expect now. I just hope that wherever you are, you continue to be happy, healthy, and safe.
