Hello Friends!

I know it has been a LONG time...but, I wanted to say, "Welcome back to "The Cre8tive Life!""-your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and cool things to check out!

If you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

*** "The Cre8tive Life" is the weekly "feel good" component of my consultancy, The Cre8tive Artisan, which is where I "make the magic happen" and curate engaging lifestyle events that help connect us humans in deeper ways. Feel free to CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE to see what I do, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you out! As always, if this newsletter is "not your thing", please feel free to unsubscribe (however, I really hope you don't).

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Deipnosophist- [dahyp-nos-uh-fist] a person skilled in the art of dining and dinner-table conversation

  • ADVICE: "The whole point of being alive is to evolve into the complete person you were intended to be."
    ~ Oprah ~

  • MOOD MUSIC: While wandering about town, I randomly heard THIS SONG ,and had to immediately Soundhound who it was (Natalie Prass). It's definitely a good springtime bop.

  • SMILE OF THE WEEK: Anyone in my inner circle knows that I hold a special space in my heart for the classic and timeless (in my opinion) movie, "Troop Beverly Hills." I was unabashedly excited to hear that they were doing a 30 year reunion special with the cast. Definitely HUGE SMILES for me HERE!

  • BOOK: I have been listening to the audio version of THE POWER OF HABIT. Lots of fascinating things to learn about how our brain works in the formation of habits.

  • RANDOM LIFE TIP: Do you find yourself getting easily distracted on the internet when you're supposed to be productive? If so, you may want to add the BLOCK SITE extension (only available via Chrome). It essentially lets you block your own access to distracting websites, your mail servers, or anything else on the internet. You can set a period of time to block for, add sites to your blacklist, and have a little more accountability through a virtual accountability partner!

  • THING I WANT TO TRY: I have not gone full fledge vegan (yet), but I have definitely been expanding my palate more into that world over the past few months. THIS is a cool story, and something that I am looking to try in the NYC soon!

I have been doing a lot of reflection on life and purpose as of late, and have noticed that I have found myself really gravitating towards the high values I have set on "peace and good energy" (in both career and personal). In my deeper reflection on this, I can trace and connect the many dots along the way that have made these things such a huge value point of mine. Things such as not establishing clear boundaries; sometimes being "afraid" to ask for what I want/needed; being caught up in the idea of being too people-pleasing; and, wanting to avoid difficult conversations, etc., have been some of the many mistakes that I have made over the years that have caused me to have this deeply rooted foundational set. In doing this, I have also thoroughly embraced the fact that my seeking this may not always present the outcomes that I would want in my short-term thinking; but, if I stay focused and rooted in the things that really matter to me, and aim to live my life in my purest intention, that the right path of my truest happiness will be revealed to me.

This week I challenge you to take the time to reflect on the mistakes you have made over the years that have "magically" contributed to great learnings in your life journey. How have they helped mold you into the person that you are? How have you grown, and what areas still need work?

I am STILL in the process of creating some "non-traditional" events where people can connect on a deeper level in person. And, I am still in need of a bit more feedback in my survey. If you have not done so already, please take a quick 5 minutes to fill out:

Thanks sooooooo much in advance for your time!

***Totally disregard this part of the newsletter if you have already done this.
