The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has issued a Dear Tribal Leader Letter (DTLL) announcing a Tribal consultation on its draft “Achieving Equitable Recovery: A Post-Disaster Guide for Local Officials.” The purpose of this consultation is to receive feedback and recommendations from Tribal Leaders and officials regarding the contents of this guide before final publication. Topics for discussion include reducing recovery disparities, building resilience for communities, reducing impacts of recurring disasters, and mitigating climate risks. Details regarding the Tribal consultation on the draft Guide are as follows—
