South Africa Lock Down Low Down

South Africa is following a Risk-Adjusted Strategy based on levels of lockdown, not dates.

Comprehensive Tourism Industry Protocols & Procedures are being developed and implemented.

The Parachute Association of South Africa (PASA), Aero Club of South Africa and the South African Aviation Industry has submitted comprehensive action plan to the SA Civil Aviation Authority.

The Tourism Business Council of South Africa (TBCSA) is pushing for a phased reopening of International inbound tourism from September.

The Democratic Alliance is of the view that level 3 regulations must allow for the opening of all sectors in the tourism, travel and hospitality industries that can show that they can meet hygiene and social distancing protocols, as well as the opening of provincial borders to boost domestic tourism.
