7 Tips to work from home effectively during COVID -19

COVID -19 affected many industries and especially our daily life. Many companies have decided to allow their employees to work from home in order to reduce spreading in the community. As a result, millions of people around the world have started working from home (WFH).

1. Imagine yourself working in the office

Paying as much attention as possible while working at home and avoiding distractions such as TV, web surfing and yes……refrigerators!

Separate your work space from resting areas. You do not need to beautify your work space before you settle down to work. What you need is a place where you can concentrate,
3. Managing your working schedule and don’t forget your breaks

You will easily lose track of time working from home so it is advisable to set an alarm for a well deserved break.
4. Communication with team

Humans are social animals. It is good to keep in touch with your colleagues using application such as Skype , LINE , Zoom, Webex etc for a chat , conference and updating your work.
5. Dress properly

Do not wear pyjamas .The way you dress can influence your mood and vibe. Dressing up in the right work clothes will motivate you to work like in the office.
6. Get ready the work equipment

Many companies use VPN to work from home. Preparing your computer desk or laptop for such purpose is definitely a must.

7. Keep children in your plans

Due to school closure, children may also be around at home. Plan and schedule some activities to occupy them while you work
