Eyre Peninsula Local Government Association Conference Around 230 people attended the annual EPLGA conference and RDAEP Economic Development Showcase held at the Port Lincoln Racing Club on 25 and 26 February.
With the conference theme being 'Building Regional Resilience', attendees were briefed on major RDAEP related developments and projects across the region; listened to inspirational and uplifting speakers; workshopped leadership strategies and competed in tuna tossing.

Position Vacant - Tourism Development Manager We advise that Sondra Stewart has resigned from the role of Tourism Development Manager to return to Adelaide. Sondra has been with RDAEP for almost 2 years and her commitment and passion for tourism on the EP has been outstanding and very much appreciated. Sondra’s last day with RDAEP will be Friday 26 March and we wish her all the very best in her new position.
Therefore, an exciting opportunity has emerged for an innovative and proactive manager to lead the development of Eyre Peninsula as a world class tourism destination.
We are seeking a values-driven manager to deliver innovative tourism and economic development outcomes through active stakeholder collaboration and project management.

Congratulations to Funding Recipients RDAEP is proud to have provided support to the 3 EP tourism businesses who had successful applications for funding through the State Government Tourism Industry Development Fund. * Fowlers Bay Caravan Park - $108,148 for theconstruction of two new two-bedroom eco-friendly cabins * Australian Wildlife Adventures - $44,863 for a new tour vehicle * Marina Hotel and Apartments - $126,000 for the refurbishment of 11 apartments and redevelopment of the reception area, entrance canopy and bathroom facilities.
