Camberwell
Interclub.
Not one of KPS finest hours, coming in 10th.
(There were 10 clubs in the Interclub). Not that our images were not
really good, we just did not have enough to enter.
Based on the size
of our club we can only enter 1 image per person. For this year we
needed to enter 8 single person portraits, 8 portraits with more than
1 person, and 5 creative portraits. That’s 21 images in total and
therefore 21 members minimum to submit images for consideration. We had
just 12.
The winning club Camberwell averaged 8.38 points per image
for a total of 176. If we averaged the same, we would have received
just 12 x 8.37 for a total of 100. We actually ended up with a total
of 84, therefore not even a prayer chance for a placing.
Thanks to
the members, Noel, Robyn, Dianne, David, Anna, Carola, Ray, Leanne,
Albert, Jim, Colin and Rob for your images you all did very well.
So
now to 2023, we need more than 21 members to get ready (EDIs) at
least 1 portrait of a single person, 1 portrait of more than 1
person, and 1 creative portrait. We have till about June next year,
so round up all those interesting family members, and friends, and
line them up for a portrait session. If you need to borrow KPS lights
or backdrops we can help.
Mornington
Novice Interclub. This
was held on Thursday 25th
Aug. Jim (Interclub co- ordinator) and Rob represented KPS down at
Mornington. KPS, B and C graders really did us proud.
Jim spent more
time on the stage than off the stage, collecting certificates. More
info and results are to come at the September 14th meeting.
Maroondah
Interclub
(the last for 2022) is coming up next month.
