Hi , how are your relationships? I'm not just talking about romantic relationships here. How are ALL of your relationships from your peers, colleagues, managers, partners, friends and family. What about your relationships with strangers? Are you kind and considerate? Do you have compassion when a cashier is a miserable cow or do you rise to her rudeness and change yourself at the same time?
How we carry ourselves in all our relationships affects our mood, our stress levels and our mindset. How we view the world through those we love and those we don't know is an important part of making yourself happy.
If you treat everyone you know in the same way, you will get a particular result from your relationships. Have a think today about all of your relationships and don't forget the ones with strangers as well. Are you being true to yourself in all of your relationships, or do you change according to the person/situation?
Try to be the same person with everyone. It will help you to stay in balance with yourself and contributes to good mental health as you're not trying to be anything else. If patterns of behaviour emerge as a result of this review, seek out which ones need a tweak and do it.
