Santa, elves and delivery workers are coming to town! Follow these safety tips to keep them safe this holiday season. 

Our communities are where we grow, connect and thrive. This year, WorkSafeNB introduced a volunteer day for employees, providing them the opportunity to give back to their communities. Recently, Tim Petersen, WorkSafeNB’s President and CEO, spent his volunteer day driving around New Brunswick to collect donations for the Saint John SPCA. Employees eagerly spent their volunteer day supporting Operation: Fill Tim’s Truck. Together, we raised over $1,000 in cash, e-transfer and gift card donations, and filled a truck bed and a half with pet food!

WorkSafeNB's health and safety officers and occupational hygienists are given legislative authority to write orders under the OHS Act, to improve safety and prevent workplace injuries in New Brunswick.

When these orders are not complied with, or when an incident has taken place as a result of a violation of the Act and/or its regulations, WorkSafeNB may recommend charges to the Department of Justice.
