Find a quiet, safe, warm place where you can deeply relax and turn your attention inward.
Focus your awareness on the earth that supports every action you consciously make through your feet. Feel yourself deeply rooted into the earth with your feet. Honor the earth and your connection with it by saying, “I honor the space in which you exist.” Gently touch your heart to place awareness at your heart center; where you feel the touch, you consciously connect with your heart. Honor your heart by saying, “I honor the space in which you exist.” Slow your breathing to a five second duration inhalation and a five second exhalation to relax fully. As you deeply and slowly breathe, focus your awareness on feeling care, gratitude, appreciation and/or compassion for anyone or anything.
Continue this relaxation method for three or more minutes daily to transform stress into relaxation. 🙂
