Update from our DPC (Disaster Preparedness Coordinator)

Denver's "Home by 10" Public Health Order began Sunday, November 8th, and lasts daily until December 7th at 5:00am. Please remain inside between 10:00pm and 5:00am.

PCs for People

Through electronic reuse PCs for People provides the opportunity for all low-income individuals and nonprofits to benefit from the life-changing impact of computers and mobile internet.

Need computer repairs? The participant would just need to provide the same eligibility proof (ID, approval letter for a government benefits program i.e. SNAP, SSDI, Medicaid). Generally, repairs are $25-$45 and they diagnose for free.

Zoom lifts it's 40-minute limit for 11/26!

Zoom announced it will lift its timed meeting limit on Thanksgiving so "your family gatherings don't get cut short." The video communications company announced in a tweet that the 40-minute time limit it usually has on its free meetings will be lifted globally on November 26 (Thanksgiving Day).

    Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Program for Small, Micro Businesses and Nonprofits. The City and County of Denver is continuing to support its smallest businesses and nonprofits that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic by providing them with addiitonal free PPE kits. These free kits will help organizations offset an unexpected expense and help ensure a safe environment for their employees, volunteers, and customers during the winter months. Program Details Program Eligibility Businesses or nonprofits located in Denver Must have 50 or fewer employees Must have been operating before March 1, 2020 Organizations who received a kit in the first round, are eligible to receive one more kit in this second round. Program Disqualification Business/nonprofits with more than 50 employees Business/nonprofits not located in Denver Individuals or families (FFN providers accepted) Hospitals, long-term care facilities, testing centers, hospices, and clinics PPE Kit Contents Two 64oz hand sanitizers 120 1oz. hand sanitizers 200 surgical masks 200 vinyl gloves (large) Three containers of disinfectant wipes Program Delivery Timeline PPE kits are expected to be delivered within 2-3 weeks after your registration form is completed and reviewed for eligibility. Note The items provided in the PPE kits are intended for use by the recipient, their customers, and employees, and shall not be resold.     AllHealth Network

    Housing Resources

    Family Promise of Greater Denver

    Prevention and Rehousing helps families avoid the trauma of homelessness by keeping them housed through providing small amounts of rental assistance. We can assist a family on the verge of homelessness with rental assistance or help with first month’s rent or deposit on a new lease. Assistance is one time. Follow up case management is also offered to support families as they maintain housing.

    First Mennonite Denver

    The FMC Direct Assistance Program provides rent and utility help to people who live in the neighborhoods around our church. The program serves an average of 450 families per year, helping Westside neighbors keep the lights on and stay in their homes.
