A Barge owned by Nigeria LNG was attacked while under tow from a Tug en route to Bonny Island, Rivers State, Nigeria.

Armed perpetrators launched an assault on the barge, but the armed security team (AST) escorting the vessel successfully repelled the attack, causing the assailants to flee. Authorities are investigating the incident.
