Dear Parents, Carers and Members,
Welcome to our first bulletin for 2021. We would like to wish you all a happy and healthy new year.
It is proving to be an ongoing challenge for many of us to maintain a positive mindset as we once again find ourselves in lockdown. We appreciate that it is a very difficult time for everybody but we hope to be able to offer support to our families that need us in different ways.
The following briefing from the National Network of Parent Carer Forums has some helpful information regarding school closures, social care support and other important points.

Our team is committed to supporting those who are in need during this time. Therefore we are pleased to announce in addition to our current online/virtual support/meetings for parents and our befriending social group, we are able to offer the following:
1. Outreach support for walks/exercise for 1 family/bubble at a time around the city/county parks.
2. Instead of our twice monthly support/stay and play sessions we are now offering support/play sessions at Beeston Youth and Community Centre. These sessions can be on days and times to suit families where practical.
3. Thanks to a generous grant from the Pears Foundation we have a very limited number of 'On Demand' e-tickets available for The Nottingham Playhouse Christmas Panto Cinderella from the 12 January for 5 days. See 'Activities' below for further information.
4. We may also be able support families who are struggling with food shopping and are reliant on foodbanks. Please contact us for more details.
If there are any other ways that we may be able to support during this lockdown, please get in touch either by email or the office landline and mobile.
