It's been a full on week - with three upcoming exhibitions, upcoming workshops, a teenager's birthday with TWO parties, planning an Autumn Studio Party, Gold Star Day  - AND the puffin auction...Plus it's the start of a new school term, finding our feet with a new routine - no wonder we're pooped!

Also last Friday it was Athene's wedding anniversary and our throwback post on social media had soooo much feedback about the wedding trifle. Who needs cake when you can have trifle? And yes, getting married in your living room is to be recommended.  

On top of everything else we've just opened our commission book for the season - very exciting, and perfect if you or someone you know has a special occasion coming up - wedding, birthday, anniversary etc... We absolutely love to be involved with such personal and special parts of people lives - it's all about that personal connection.

Qwerky Cottage will be open and dressed with lots of autumnal vibes and fabulous jewellery. We'll also have nibbles and drinks (the perfect accompaniment to an evening in the studio) .

It's the perfect opportunity to see what's new in the studio and have a nose around to see where it all happens. Looking forward to seeing you all for a catch up.

We've got loads to talk about exhibition-wise, but first the Puffin Parade Auction! We waved our puffin goodbye as he flew off to his new home, having been auctioned off for the princely sum of £2,000. The puffins collectively raised £98,200 for the two charities, Autism Guernsey and GSPCA - and it was brilliant to see all the puffins lined up in the late afternoon sun.  

In exhibition news - We've been accepted into the Guernsey Arts open - with our huge paisley painting, 6ft by 3ft - you might have seen us doodling on our Instagram.

AND we've also entered the FOX Art Competition with our piece "Friends that Leave" a mixed media piece based on Guernsey population policies.

Last but not least we have the Jersey Harbour Gallery's upcoming exhibition "Second Time Around" which will feature some of our luxe plectrum collection pieces.

There so much to to talk about with all these exhibitions that we can't fit it all into one newsletter - so expect lots of updates in the next few installments...

And we haven't actually got any space left to tell you about Gold Star Day - or about our B17 Feedback in Iowa of all places. There's soooo much to tell you all, but hopefully next week will be quieter and we'll get to it then. x x x
