April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month
The National Safety Council estimates show that our roads are the most dangerous they've been in years. Let's ensure we transport Scouts safely to and from Scouting activities using these valuable resources:

No parents required for this fun and exciting session where Scouts ages 10-13 experience all the fun of camp and learn about what Scouting is! Sessions vary from 4 days to a full week, depending on the camp. This is a fully camp-supervised program, so no adults are required to attend with youth.

Scouting's Barriers to Abuse
The following changes are effective September 1, 2023
To ensure the safety of our Scouts the following changes to Scouting's Barriers to abuse will be implemented:

• Two registered adult leaders 21 years of age or over are required at all Scouting activities, including all meetings. There must be a registered female adult leader 21 years of age or over in every unit serving females. A registered female adult leader 21 years of age or over must be present for any activity involving female youth or female adult program participants.
• Notwithstanding the minimum leader requirements, age and program-appropriate supervision must always be provided.
• All adults staying overnight in connection with a Scouting activity must be currently registered in an adult fee required position as listed or as an adult program participant. Limited exception below for Cub Scout overnight Programs.

Merit Badge Counselor Renewal - Due June 1
Merit Badge Counselors are required to renew their memberships annually to indicate their desire to continue in that important role. All counselors need to renew by June 1, 2023.  Use this online renewal form to renew your Merit Badge Counselor registration
