JESUS, THE OPEN DOOR TO ALL OF GOD'S FULLNESS
04 April 2021
I welcome you to the first month of the second quarter of 2021 to the glory of God.
This month has been declared the month of “Open Door” into all the fulness of God. Also, in this season, we are celebrating the remembrance of God’s love to man when the life gate was open through Jesus into the presence of God. (Heb. 10:11-18) What a privilege to be part of a glorious and significant season such as this!
The love and sacrifice of Jesus, through the shedding of His blood and death on the cross, ensures we can boldly enter heaven’s most holy place. By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the most holy place.” (Heb. 10:19-20) NLT.
This week and next I will share with you on the significance of open and closed doors with emphasis on Jesus as the “Open Door”.
An open door can be likened to hope, that there's a way out. It can also provide a view of what lies ahead. A closed or locked door, however, represents a dead end or creates a feeling that there's no way out.
Jesus is the door to all doors, both physical and spiritual. He opened the door of salvation that no man can shut, through his death on the cross.
May I remind you that this is the reason for our celebration and hope as we remember the love and sacrifice that opens the door into all of God’s fullness for us.
Till next week when I continue of the significance of open and closed doors, have a blessed Easter.
