It seemed inevitable but was no less shocking. On 24th February in brazen defiance of pleas for peace and dialogue Russia invaded Ukraine. President Vladimir Putin’s actions plunged Europe into crisis and the world into disbelief. At the time of writing (early March), the Ukrainian armed forces and population were bravely resisting Moscow’s wanton aggression.
This month, we dedicate the lion’s share of our EW newsletter to examining how Russia has waged its war in the electromagnetic spectrum. Our Rah, Rah, Rash Putin article will be regularly updated as new information on Russian EW comes to light and the war unfolds.
Away from Ukraine our latest Electronic Warfare podcast catches up with Sam Cranny-Evans of the Royal United Services Institute. Sam shares with us some of his interesting new research regarding Chinese electronic warfare efforts.
Last, but by no means least, there is our regular digest of all the latest EW product, programme and operational news in our Spectrum Sitrep. Until next month, take care and stay safe!
