Please pray for the repose of the soul of Deacon Renso Castellarin, the deacon of Holy Trinity Parish in Blairmore, who passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. May God provide strength and comfort to his family and community.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Miscarriage and early infancy loss are unique forms of grief, with a myriad of potential facets. Grief, despite its painful nature, can reveal our resilience. It can deepen our relationships and enhance our spirituality. While it's a difficult journey, it's also an opportunity for growth and transformation.
The Diocese of Calgary invites you to a weekend of hope & healing at Ascension Catholic Parish on October 13 & 14 (Friday evening, and Saturday) with keynote speakers Eunice Peterson R. Psych. and Fr. Michael Bombak (Parish Priest, St. Stephen Protomartyr Ukrainian Catholic Church, Calgary).
This workshop is open to everyone. You might consider attending if you have personally experienced a miscarriage, if you know someone who has suffered a miscarriage and you're unsure how to provide support, or if you frequently interact with families and want to be equipped to handle this specific form of grief.
Eunice Peterson, one of our speakers and a grieving mother herself, has written a personal invitation explaining why this workshop could be a crucial part of your healing journey.

POPE'S PRAYER INTENTION |
+ |
|
Each year, the Holy Father asks for our prayers for a specific intention each month. You are invited to answer the Holy Father's request and to join with many people worldwide in praying for this intention each month. From time to time, the Holy Father may add a second prayer intention related to current events or urgent needs, like disaster relief. The second prayer request will help mobilize prayer and action related to the urgent situation.
