AFCA’s Theater & Storytelling Training at SVP Schools..

In the context of the Label FRANCÉDUCATION and seeking the development of the arts and culture sections in the French schools located in Egypt, the French Institute in Cairo supported AFCA to put in place a two-day training in each of Saint Vincent de Paul - Abbassieh & Helmiah schools from the 15th - the 18th of last February.

22 teachers have participated in this intensive training, engaging in a series of interactive Theater games, and Storytelling activities.

Throughout the two days, the participants experienced the importance of applying new creative teaching methods, and how those artistic touches would reflect effectively on their students' performance.

AFCA Arts School..

After years of experience in education through the arts industry, AFCA is now ready to announce the launching of a brand-new project (AFCA Arts School) that specializes in providing workshops and training in different fields of the performing arts for children and young people.

The launch of this project took place in the context of the Euro-Egyptian cultural Program 2019-2020 funded by the European Union in cooperation with the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC), and it included a seven-days’ workshop in each of Theater and Storytelling arts that were attended by around 40 children from different age groups.

The workshops were held in two of the cultural centers of the AUEED in Bani-Ebeid & Abo-Korkas villages located in El-Minya governorate last December. By the end of the program, the participants were able to create and perform an outstanding play as well as a Storytelling performance that was based on real situations/stories from their own life. Stay tuned for the upcoming activities of AFCA Arts School!
