A QUICK UPDATE FROM TODD BENTLEY

HAPPY HARVEST SEASON! As many of you know we had a challenging few weeks personally with our family dog who is now recovering after an emergency surgery. He had an abscessed liver and they had to remove apart of his liver to save his life. We are still in the process of treating the infection but I believe he will make a full recovery.

Paris has started kindergarten and her favorite teacher is the Bible teacher, (Proud dad 😎) and Jocelyn is growing so fast and has started to talk in full conversations now.

Jessa and I are working together on growing our market place business, the Magnificent Man Company. We are adding new scents to both lines and are bringing everyone’s favorite from last year, Ginger Snap, for the holiday season. We are believing for our best quarter in our new company with the holidays approaching.

I have enjoyed preaching in our online community at the Secret Place Church online. I started a new weekly series focused on Heavenly Realities. If you haven't already been joining us, you definitely should.

The most exciting part of my update this month, is that we have renovated our guest room and turned it into my new prayer room called the Secret Den. This is a true prophet's chamber, 24 hours of worship, and is the perfect place for me too soak and seek the Lord.

Myself, Jessa and our family are grateful for your continued prayers and financial support and encouragement. I am feeling a new fresh fire in my Spirit and feel heathy, stress-free, focused, and ready for 2021. God definitely used this last year to heal and restore so many areas of my life, heart, spirit, and marriage. I am hearing his voice clearly and am excited about many changes we are working on behind the scenes in both our ministry and business. The journey continues and I have learned and relearned some valuable tools for the next wave.

Each month we have trusted God for our supernatural provision and we are amazed each month how He provides. Many of you have been a great and continual support for our ministry and Family. I am thankful and praying for you to increase and prosper in all things.

WE ARE MEANT TO BE BLESSED!

We need to recognize that although curses can and do affect our lives, God wants us to become free from all curses so we can receive His blessings. He is a good God whose greatest desire is to see us blessed. We are the seed of Abraham (Gal. 3:16), and God promised Abraham and his seed many blessings. These blessings of Abraham have been handed down to us through the generations, we’ve inherited them.

God first promised to make Abraham’s name great (Gen. 12:2). In fact, God changed Abraham’s name from Abram (a high father) to Abraham (the father of a multitude). A great name speaks of a good reputation and God’s exaltation (favor). For example, when we are in favor with God, many will call upon us.

God also promised that we would experience fruitfulness

(Deut. 28:4, 5). When our lives or ministries are fruitful, we can expect abundance, revival, harvest, and a multitude of salvations and healings.

Abraham became wealthy in gold and livestock. God gave Abraham prosperity: “The LORD has blessed my master greatly, and he has become great; and He has given him flocks and herds, silver and gold, male and female servants, and camels and donkeys” (Gen. 24:35). The blessings were passed on to Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph because in Abraham, all the families of the earth shall be blessed (Gen. 12:3). As we prosper abundantly, we have money or goods to give away to those in need. If we want to be a blessing, we need to be blessed!

When we are in FAITH, stirred and led in our seed planting, this is when we see true increase and the blessing of the Lord. I have always asked God about every offering I give so Holy Spirit is key to my giving, not compulsion. This is why we see so many financial breakthroughs over the years in missions. God knows what and where we need to sow. Ask the Lord for the keys to your financial breakthrough like Isaac did.

“Then Isaac sowed in that land, (famine) and received in the same year a hundredfold increase: and the Lord blessed him.” (Gen 26:12) Not the best time to be giving but God blessed him. The blessing of the Lord on our life and giving is always the key to increase and prosperity in times of adversity. The blessing of the LORD makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it. (Prov 10:22)

We need to seek after one thing. We need the blessing (Anointing) on our lives to prosper. To many seek all the success and are not trusting in the power of God for finances.

“And with GREAT POWER the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.” Then we see as a result of this DUNAMIS POWER a great GRACE is on them all, not some - ALL and no one among them had any LACK. Verse 35 says that “there was not a needy person among them, for all who were owners of land or houses would sell them and bring the proceeds of the sales.

I believe that in times of great financial crises and famine, we the people of God will still prosper and when our source is the heavenly system we will lack nothing.

God’s increase is 100 and 1000 fold.

(Deut 1:11) “The Lord God of your fathers make you a thousand times (1000) so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!” His blessing is a multiplication 1000 times and we see the 100 fold in Gen 26:12 - “Then Isaac sowed in that land, (famine) and received in the same year an hundredfold increase: and the Lord blessed him.”

We need to trust that there is power and partnership with the Holy Spirit to gain wealth for Kingdom purposes. “But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant (Deut 1:18) Pray over your seeds and believe for the increase and multiplication of your finances too.

Expect victory! God will deliver our enemies into our hands (Gen. 14:20) as He did for Abraham. God wants to bless us with an overcoming, conquering life.

The most exciting blessing of all is the promise of God’s presence.

When God appeared to Isaac and promised to fulfill His oath to Abraham, He said, “I will be with you” (Gen. 26:3). It is also what God is saying to you and me. It is the promise of the presence of God. God later revealed Himself to Jacob as the God of Abraham, saying, “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go” (Gen. 28:15). God promised His manifest presence to His people.

If you’re feeling defeated, live in lack or poverty, or you are unfruitful, first recognize that you are not experiencing the promised blessings of Abraham. It is God’s will that all prosper and be in health (3 John 1:2). We have been redeemed from the curse of the law to receive the blessing of Abraham (Gal. 3:618): favor, fruitfulness, prosperity, victory, and His wonderful presence!

Ensure you don’t miss any of the blessings God has for your life or ministry. Take time to ask the Lord if there are any curses you have been speaking over your life and prayerfully repent where you need to. Then break off any curses the Lord reveals to you and receive by faith the blessings of Abraham.
