Considering how brutal the start of the day, it ended with some positive things happening. Warriors managed to make the number and cash as the NBA BEST BET play and ultimately that proved to be the grace that saved a ugly disaster.
St Louis game... so much happened over the course of that game it would take more than 1000 words to properly describe it. First, they literally missed a dozen shots within two feet of the basket over the course of the game... they had an obvious advantage inside the paint but struggled all game to get the ball in the hole. FT shooting was simply not good and nothing emphasized that more than the Billikens sitting on the line with 0.4 seconds remaining shooting two FT's. St Louis was down 1 point, but missed both FT's, either of which would have sent the game into OT and gave us a chance to pull one out of our ass, but honestly they got what they deserved in a 54-53 loss.
St Louis had been an awesome team at home prior to that effort going 11-0 but I don't recall a game in those 11 where they played this poorly.
BEST BET split kept the flow going to the extent there wasn't a total pooch screw on the top end of the plays, and will look to come up with the goods to finish the week on Sunday.
