You and I need to be challenged! This is what the Scriptures do and they not only challenge us, they help us not lose sight of the fact that God through his Word is always changing us and trying to get us involved in his mission.The challenge this week that will be brought by Pastor Steve is, “Who are you Ignoring?” In Jesus' time, his disciples (and adults in general) were ignoring the children. Yet Jesus valued the children and said “Let the little children come!” There is a need for salvation all around us and this same need exists in far off places. God cares about and values all people. The question for you and I is, “Who are we ignoring that God does not want us to ignore?”

Our goal is to raise $10,500 towards three children’s ministry projects (you can read about them by clicking below). As of this last Sunday we have raised $1812.00. We ask you to pray about whether or not God would have you contribute to these projects.

What happens when people die? What happens to babies who have been aborted or who have died before they reach the age of accountability? Does purgatory exist? When is Jesus going to return? Is there more than one future return of Jesus? What is the great tribulation? What is the meaning and purpose of the judgment seat of Christ? What will happen to Satan and his angels? What will heaven be like? Bring your questions so we can have good discussions as we search the Scriptures for God’s answers.

Did you ever wonder what happened during what is often called the “400 Silent Years” between the Old and New Testaments? Come join us in this new community group that will be meeting each Sunday before the service at 8:45 am. We will start with the 400 silent years and then move into a detailed study of the Gospel of John as we study the life of Jesus and apply what we learn to our daily lives.

Daylight Savings Time is this Sunday, so don’t forget to set your clocks forward by an hour. Also, with Spring approaching, Easter will be here before we know it. You’ll want to add the following Easter events to your calendar.

On March 8th, we launched our Campaign Connection email newsletter—a monthly synopsis of our Welcome Home! Campaign. Check your email for this update. That email speaks to not only the practical answers of financial and project progress and perspective, but also the missional reason behind it all.

If you want to understand or be inspired by some of the "why" behind our capital campaign, these words from Leigh Sandera are a powerful statement of the way this church works to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the people within our church family.

We are well on our way to having the funds necessary for the planned parking lot reconstruction! You don’t have to look far to see the dire state of our pavement. The exciting reality is this one renovation will improve over half of our campus!

Our practical plan is to pay cash for the parking lot.

Our missional goal is widespread participation. There is still much to accomplish beyond the parking lot to continue to best utilize this building into the future.

Heart Prize 2023

God has given us many different talents and abilities and if you are artistically inclined, whether it’s photography, watercolors, sketching or another epic art form, we invite you to participate in our Heart Prize 2023 competition. The art will be displayed in the church foyer. There are 3 categories: Youth (7-12th grade), Adults and Photography. All artwork must be framed and ready to be hung by wire by April 12th.
