Essential Businesses Please Respond
Grundy County Health Department is working diligently to distribute vaccines according to CDC and IDPH guidelines. Like the rest of the nation, demand far exceeds supply. Approximately 10,000 people have expressed an interest in receiving the vaccine under 1a and 1b guidelines. Presently, the Grundy County Health Department is receiving 300-600 vaccines weekly.
If you are an essential business, it is uncertain when you may be able to get your employees vaccinated, but it is important to be ready and registered. Please send the following information to Tania Schwer, Grundy County Health Department to email@example.com.
• Contact name, phone number, and email of the person that will be coordinating the vaccine effort for the company.
• Number of vaccines needed. It is strongly encouraged that businesses survey their employees to see how many want the vaccine, the health department needs an accurate count. Employees do not need to be Grundy County residents.
• Can the business provide a registered nurse, on site, to administer the vaccines? Due to the overwhelming need and limited manpower, it is strongly encouraged that businesses arrange for the administration of the vaccine themselves.
The housing market has entered 2021 with high demand and low inventory.
Average sale price has risen 9.2%.
Median sales price is $185,000 to $235,000 and everything under $250,000 is selling.
Market time (if priced right and in good condition) 60 days to close.
Inventory in Grundy County has plunged and available homes to sell are down 15.2% in January and 38.7% in the last quarter.
There is an increased level of new construction for people that can't find existing homes for sale that meet their demands.
Thank you to Advantage Realty for the data.
