Originally located in the Ear, Nose and Throat facility on Cleveland Road, Wooster Eye Center moved to its current Friendsville Road location in 1988, adding an outpatient surgery center in 1994, known as the Eye Surgery Center of Wooster.
Treating a wide range of medical eye conditions, including cataract, glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration, droopy eyelids and autoimmune eye disease, the Wooster Eye Center has four physicians, all medical doctors Joining Wooster Eye Center in 1997, Jeffrey Perkins, MD, has the longest tenure with 26 years, and is joined by Anton Miedel, MD, Scott Steiner, MD, and Ryan Chenevey, MD.
