You're probably thinking he doesn't send a newsletter for almost a month then I he sends a couple the last week! I don't want to be that guy, but  I will be setting this schedule within the next day here so please read through carefully if you can find the time.

Covid Negative Test!

First, I just want to let you all know I went for my second COVID Test Thursday and feel blessed to have already received the resutls which were NEGATIVE!

It may not have been the best business decision to get re-tested as some people have pointed out to me since there have been cases of  people no longer contagious who still test postive for up to 3 months, but I wanted everyone to be safe and feel safe. Having said that, the science says I'm immune for a while and should be one of the safer people for your players to be around this indoor season. Also, thank you so much for all of your kind messages.

Lights, Camera, Action!

I think, for many reaons, we all wanted to stay outside for as long as possible, but indoor is what we sign up for living near Chicago.

Having said that, we will focus on quickness, reactions, and control during these months; the physical topics here are ones I don't usually empthasize as much outdoor since I feel like we will get diminished returns with them training so much, but, with players being off club and with fresh legs, it's definitely an opportunity I'm excited for.

I have spent a lot of money and time mastering this innovative light technology in the hopes it could change the private / small-group setting like I think it will; When players can actually use visual keys to react (as you can see in this drill), we are more accurately preparing for what they'll face in the actual game situation. I've used them outdoors (if the weather allowed) but these will be much more useful indoors. These guys are 8-9 years old, but we've made great strides this year and I don't regret putting them through this at all.

Indoor Start Date / Need Times Now

I have spoken with the owner of the facility I will lease for 3 days a week and we will start indoor in Geneva this Saturday. This facility is nice and will work well. Address below:

429 N Kirk Rd Suite 103, Geneva, IL 60134

I will try to get some pictures soon, but if I remember correctly, it is turfed space of nearly 37 x 65 feet. I feel truly blessed to have this opportunity and so thankful to the wonderful Moms that connected me to the Dr.

Thank you for all the families that have sent your times. I haven't finalized any of the schedule yet as I've been waiting for the go ahead to start indoor first. I will be starting to finalizing my schedule tomorrow so if you would like to have a chance at a gauranteed spot each week for the first block (see more below) then please reach out to me within the next day or so with your times if you have not done so already.

The turf will allow for players to wear their cleats, but it's recommended they have flats (ideally turfs) as well because there has been some slipping with cleats.

Also, please show up early as we will also be blessed to have the Dr. (master of movement efficiency) that owns the facility there to help players warm up so please show up early if possible.

4 Week Scheduling Blocks

We will be implementing a similar stategy for outdoor as we did for indoor in that players and their families who like gauranteed spots each week will be locked in for 4-week periods at their current time. After that, my schedule will change a bit as I'm sure all of yours will. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Movement Efficiency to Soccer Application Program

I am happy to announce I will be partnering up with the Dr. who owns the facility to create a joint session working with our athletes on both ends of the spectrum (movement efficiency and soccer skills.) The Dr. has a great understanding of the body and was a rugby professional so he knows what it takes to play at a high-level as well. He, like me, emphasises the importance of attention to detail and on quality of our work over quantity. We will be emphasizing control and proper execution in these sessions. The Dr. will prime the athletes muscles and I'll put them to work with some application in the soccer skills. There will be limited availability so please message me if this is something you might be interested in.

Indoor Facility / Prices

I had the option to go indoors this weekend, but I chose not to for many reasons. First, I think with evertying going on it's better to be outside as long as possible. Second, the bigger space is so important to a player's development and I feel we must take advantage of this time. Third, to be honest, it's part of the culture I'm trying to create here - Discomfort is part of the path to growth. As long as it's not dangerous to them. We are not there with the weather yet. Fourth, I understand it will be more expensive for you all to go indoors.

As for the indoor transition, my idea is to start inside next weekend. We will only be in Geneva at the facility below and I will have availability Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday. It's not a giant space, but it's a very nice space. I will start Next Saturday as of now so please let me know any and all times that might work for the weekend as soon as possible because I will be starting to set people in schedules sooner than later. Thank you.

Indoor Location:

29 N. Kirk rd, Geneva. Door 104

REMINDERS ABOUT INDOOR TRAININGS FROM PREVIOUS NEWSLETTERS BELOW

Obviously, there is a difference in the pricing, but, I think many of you understand renting indoor facility cost money + necessitates insurance (even more-so in the winter.) And, as many of you have seen, no one can do what I can do so, rest assured, even with the price increase, you are getting the best value for your players development.

PAIRING/GROUPING PLAYERS

With the limited availability and price increase I will be, once again, pairing players/allowing players from different clubs to participate in sessions.

CREDIT TOWARDS SESSIONS

I will also be adding in a way for players to earn credit towards sessions for communty service hours volunteered by players (more below.) The goal of this is to make as big of an impact on the game/it's players/the world and if they are making a difference then value is being traded.

BI-MONTHLY (every other week scheduling) SCHEDULING

On top of that, there will very likely be many slots reserved not weekly but every other week so I can still guide as many players as possible to their full potential/dreams.

OTHER COACH OPPORTUNITY

I will also be looking to bring in another player with high-level playing experience to work with players at a discounted rate compared to mine. I will give him my drills and guide as best I can in how I do things. Please reach out and discuss if this is something you'd be interested in.

Community Service

Until further notice, I'l be offering up to 3 hours of community service for each player to account for $7 off for each hour served. Please reach out to me for more details. This offer is the maximum and only applicable to private sessions. We can potentially discuss other possibilities for group sessions or pair sessions.

Meetings / Analysis

Whether we are able to continue or not this winter. To start, I will do my best to meet with all players who I've had at least 15 sessions with this year since I've worked with so many players this year. We will have to coordiante a day/time, but I would really like to get to know my players better off "the-pitch." Please make sure we connect to find a time to meet up so we can discuss soccer/life goals/problems. Thank you!

I'll obviously be more available to analyze video / games this winter if that's something that might interest you.

Availability Page

I'll try to update daily if spots open up.

Payment Protocol / Help

Hi, I would like to ask for your help with payments. I am okay with parents paying at their convenience, but I would greatly appreciate payment on the same date unless we have discussed a pre-payment or an invoice situation.

AND if you ARE not able to pay on the day of the session then I kindly you ask you to make the date of the payment on the notes in Zelle.

Text Updates

Also, for the new parents on here and those of you who have not yet signed up - don't forget to follow the instructions to the left here and text COACHKYLE to the # 66599 for all of the text updates. It's especially important when location and everything else is up in the air. Thanks for helping me keep you updated. Obviously, you can cancel at any time if you'd like. Just reply CANCEL back to this number.
