2021 ANZAC Day Regatta

The closing race for the 2021 summer season, the ANZAC Day Regatta is coming up on Sunday 25th April. This special race is always well attended, and we encourage all skippers, crews, and their families to come along to the Ponsonby Cruising Club after the race for prizegiving and a catchup with other members.

TUESDAY 4 MAY - Annual Boat Owners Meeting

Yacht and Launch boat owners and crew are all welcome to join us at the Royal NZ Yacht Squadron at 7.00pm for the Boat Owners Meeting.

This is a meeting where you are encouraged to have your say on what you thought worked for the 2020-21 season – we’re here to listen to you and make the 2021-2022 season the best we can.

The meeting starts at 7.00pm and Club Night will follow in the Members Bar.

New members, please ask for a committee member and make yourselves known to them.

Partners are very welcome – cash bar and food available in the Members Lounge before and after.

CYA ANNUAL PRIZEGIVING

Wednesday 26 May ….please put in your diary!

The Annual Prizegiving of the Classic Yacht Association is to be held in the Dinghy Locker of the Royal NZ Yacht Squadron on Wednesday 26 May.

An awesome evening of camaraderie and presentation of trophies and awards. All members, crew, families & supporters are very welcome to attend.

All CYA members who have won trophies or gained 1^st, 2^nd or 3^rd in a CYA Series race, will be presented with an embroidered burgee acknowledging their achievements.

After completion of the final race on the 25^th April trophy winners and placegetters will be advised of their awards.

Tickets are $25.00 which includes finger food and a cash/eftpos bar will be available.

25^th ANNIVERSARY VESSEL REGISTER - 2021

Your committee is planning a special 25^th Anniversary edition of the CYA Vessel Register and would like to ensure all members' vessels are included.

Please be aware you must be a paid up member of the Association for the I July 2020 - 30 June 2021 year, please check with Joyce if unsure and the deadline for submissions is 5.00pm Wednesday 30 June 2021

Please read through the following, regarding vessels in the existing 2020 Register and what to do if you missed the last publication, you are a new member, or you wish to make any changes to your existing entry.

If your vessel/s are already featured and you have no changes to make to your mobile no. or photo, there is nothing for you to do, we will re-publish exactly as per the 2020 version.
