Release Schedule

Release date: Summer 2019
ONYX: Unity

I'm supposed to have a blurb and a buy link for you, I know, but... I don't.

The book wasn't planned! Onyx was supposed to be a trilogy. And then Onyx happened! As you've noticed from reading, the books are getting thicker and thicker. It got to the point halfway through ONYX: Heart where I had my suspicions that I wouldn't be able to wrap this up in the next book. When writing ONYX: Love, my suspicions were confirmed.

The good news is Onyx has now become a four book series (I do not see it growing again - fight me, JongB!).

The bad news is I do not have a release date yet. I have two books committed to - Zodiac 3 'The Dancer Who Saved Her Soul', and then I have a deadline for Cursed Luck. On top of that is my move to the UK!! I hope to have this book out by the end of the summer, but I will keep you updated here and my Facebook group!

May 17, 2019: the day Boyfriend disbanded....

Boyfriend... From the same company as Monsta X, Boyfriend debuted on May 26, 2011. Just shy of their eighth year anniversary, they have disbanded. It seemed fitting to highlight them in this newsletter.

Although they hadn't released any Korean songs for a while (there were a few Japanese albums), these guys were a big part of my K-pop history. You may even recognize them from chapter titles.

They're also one of the few groups with twins! Identical twins, no less - Youngmin and Kwangmin. These two are part of my inspiration for Wonseok and Wooseok who appeared in H3RO... and will be appearing elsewhere (whoops - spoiler!).

Although not my favorite Boyfriend song (that lies with either Janus or Jackpot (a Japanese release)), I figured for you RH readers, you might like this one - the theme of the video is Wendy and the Lost Boys.

NA Reverse Harem

Magic exists. I know—it’s in my blood.

Unfortunately, not all people from magical bloodlines have powers, and at 22, I’m several years past the age they usually appear. So I’ve resigned myself to a boring, magic-less life.

Then something strange happens…

I get stuck in the middle of a bar fight, and instead of just punching the guy back, I blow a hole in the wall.

So… I guess I do have powers. But they’re unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. This shit is definitely not normal.

And it seems the magical authorities agree, because they give me a choice: either I go to school to learn to control my crazy new magic, or they’ll take it away. Permanently.

Now if I can just survive the bitchy mean girls determined to take me down a peg, the mysterious attacks on students, the three hot-as-hell guys who don’t seem turned off by my prickly exterior, and the professor who makes me long for detention, maybe I’ll get out of here in one piece.

Wouldn’t bet on it though.

Welcome to the Academy of Unpredictable Magic.

Seratis: Daughter of the Sun

My name is NOT Seratis.
I am Queen Meha. The rightful ruler of the Kingdom of Egypt. A scientist. Human.
I was never her. Seratis, the evil Goddess of Sleep who puts men under her spell to compel them to do whatever she commands.
It was all a lie. A myth my half-brother created to make my own people hate me so he could usurp my throne.

Lucky for me, I've found a way to preserve the living like my ancestors did with the dead. To escape the war my brother has waged on me, I enter my tomb to be mummified, alive, for a hundred years. With my guard, my apprentice and my maid. Only to wake when my half-brother is long gone and forgotten.

But when we wake up, reality as we know it crashes down around us. Instead of rising after a hundred years, it was a thousand. We haven't aged a day, and we now possess inhumanly senses, strength and healing powers...among other things.
As if that is not shocking enough, now I know my half-brother isn't dead yet, and he's going to wake just like us.

This time I won't escape. I will fight. And I must find a way to win the war I've lost before. Dead or alive.
